Happy Spring to All,
Our March dinner meeting at Connie's Restaurant was a nice change. We will have to do that again. I was happy to see so many could attend.
We have our District (April 11-13) and State (May 16-19) conventions coming up so be sure to get your name on the list if you plan to attend.
We are going to have the opportunity to tour Kelly's House with Judi on April the 4th. We will meet at Starbucks at 9AM. Judi also has lunch plans for us.
In real estate I'm always running into a new glitch, this is the latest that I want to share with you. I have a good friend who died. When her family came to me to sell her house we discovered that it had been removed from her trust. This had happened when she refinanced. This changes a simple transaction into a very costly lengthily one. If you have a trust and you refinance or take an equity loan or line of credit out on your property the lender will have you take the property out of the trust in order for them to make that loan. You probably well not be fuly aware that this is even happening.(It's just another paper that you will be signing) It is very important to have the property put back into the trust as soon as the loan transaction has been completed. If you have any questions about this or want to find out if your property is still in your trust give me a call and I will help you get the information you need.
If you are thinking about refinancing please remember to call Jim Thomas @930-0266 I highly recommend him he has been my mortgage broker for over fifteen years. He also will donate $250.00 to our club for every transaction he completes for one of our members or someone referred by one of our members. Be sure and give him my name and tell him you are from our club.
I hope everyone had a very GREEN St. Patrick's Day & a Happy Hoppy Easter! I look forward to seeing everyone at our April meeting.
Remember to always "Follow That Dream"
Yours in Federation, Jamie
